The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Will Be Airing Soon
Hello, anime fans of The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!)
Are you ready to watch the second season of The Eminence in Shadow? This anime is adapted from the light novel by Daisuke Aizawa and it will entertain us again with the hilarious and exciting actions of Cid Kagenou, a high school student who has an obsession with being the shadowy figure behind every conspiracy. Along with his own secret organization called Shadow Garden, Cid will get involved in more chaotic and crazy adventures than the first season!
I can’t wait to watch the amazing and hilarious adventures of Cid Kagenou, the hero who wants to be a hidden character in a fantasy world. Are you too? 🙂
Same Studio, New Voice Actor Casts Added
The second season of this anime will premiere on October 4th, and will last for 12 episodes. Sometimes different anime seasons can be done by different studios and staff. But this anime is not like that. The same main staff who worked on the first season are also working on this anime project and are currently in the final stage, including director Akira Iwanaga, scriptwriter Tatsuya Takahashi, and character designer Atsuko Watanabe. The animation studio SILVER LINK is also still responsible for the animation production.
In addition, the official information from this anime has also announced a number of new voice actors who will play new characters in season 2. They are:
- Tsuyoshi Koyama as Juggernaut
- Shizuka Itou as Yukime
- Tomokazu Sugita as Crimson
- Ai Kakuma as Mary
- Saori Hayami as Elisabeth
- Miku Itō as 559
Some of these new characters are new members of the Shadow Garden group led by Cid, and have different special abilities. How will they interact with Cid and the other Shadow Garden members? Let’s wait and see!

This anime has also released a new visual that shows Cid surrounded by the girls (some of them are new) in Shadow Garden. This visual reveals how exciting and thrilling the upcoming season 2 will be.

Story Background And Release Date
The original story (source from HIDIVE) for those who have never watched:
Some people are not suited to play the role of flashy heroes or cowardly villains who like to twirl their mustaches with great panic. Instead, they operate in the shadows and control society through intelligence and cunning. That’s the role that Cid wanted to play when he was transferred to another world after dying from a road accident.
Cid spun one or three threads and became the leader of the underground organization Shadow Garden that fought against a powerful magic sect that threatened (which he completely made up). However, there was one thing that even his wild imagination did not expect to happen: the heretical sect that he pretended actually existed, and they were very unhappy because his fantasy powers interfered with their evil plans!
