The production staff of the anime Attack on Titan The Final Season (Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen) have just released the official trailer for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 4 (the title on Crunchyroll is Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2) at the “MAPPA x Crunchyroll” event at Anime Expo.
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 4 will air in the fall season this year.
On March 3, 2023, a one-hour special of Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 aired. Crunchyroll streamed the anime under the title Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1. The anime is also available on Hulu. SIM performed the new opening theme song, “Under the Tree.” (The Japanese title for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 is Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Zenpen, which means the first part, and the Japanese title for Part 4 is Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Kōhen, which means the second part.)
The first part of Attack on Titan The Final Season premiered on NHK in December 2020 and had 16 episodes. The anime was streamed with English subtitles by Funimation and Crunchyroll. Adult Swim’s Toonami block also started airing the anime in January 2021, and Funimation began streaming the English dub in the same month.
The second part of Attack on Titan The Final Season debuted with episode 76 on NHK General in January 2022, and lasted for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation broadcasted the second part as it aired in Japan.
The first season of the anime television series premiered in April 2013, and the second season premiered in April 2017. The first part of the third season premiered in July 2018, and the second part premiered in April 2019.
Hajime Isayama started the original Attack on Titan manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009, and finished the series in April 2021. The 34th and final volume of the manga was shipped in June 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing publishes the manga in English digitally and in print, and published the 34th volume in October 2021.
